Our Founder

Meet Dr. Christopher Dorsa

Founder, Pro Performance Chiropractic

Dr. Christopher Dorsa grew up in Nashville, Tennessee, playing sports all year round. Through his favorite sports — wrestling, boxing, jujitsu, and skateboarding— he became closely familiar with sports injuries from a young age. By his third major surgery at the age of 20, Chris discovered his interest in medicine that led him to pursue medicine at the University of Miami.

While in Miami, he shadowed several orthopedic practices, learning about surgery and orthopedic treatment. During his last year, a chiropractor for the Miami Dolphins spoke to his class, which opened his eyes to the physical aspect of sports medicine. Diving in, to learn more about physical therapy and chiropractic, he soon realized that the preventative hands on approach to healthcare was much more appealing. As a result, he pursued his Doctorate of Chiropractic at Palmer West in California.

As a personal trainer throughout college, a major focus of his studies was in movement and sports-related injuries in addition to regular spinal care. Dr. Dorsa became relentless in learning the latest and greatest techniques to create a more efficient treatment approach. His style of treatment, which is different for each patient, translates to faster healing time and fixing the problem at the source rather than simply treating symptoms. Dr. Dorsa has extensive training in prenatal chiropractic, severe spinal cord injuries and paralysis, sports injuries, auto accident care, and overall wellness.

Outside of the office Dr. Dorsa has a large variety of hobbies. In the winter time you can find him in the mountains snowboarding and in the summer you may see him at the park getting upside down between hand balancing and acrobatics. Video and film work has been a new passion of his that started with his chiropractic.

Dr. Dorsa originally went to University of Miami to study Marine & Atmospheric Sciences which he completed his bachelor’s degree in, on top of the Pre Med requirements. He worked on a scuba diving boat as a divemaster during the summers to quench his thirst for the ocean. He was founder & president of the Scuba Club at his chiropractic college in California.

Meet Della Martinez

Office Manager, Pro Performance Chiropractic

Della was born and raised in California, but moved to Colorado and started seeking opportunities to pursue her passion for helping people in need. She is bilingual, fluent in both Spanish and English, and has always had a fascination with how the brain and body function. She is looking to pursue her career in psychology and/or psychiatry in the near future.

Once moving to Colorado, Della began her employment as a medical assistant for the fast-growing medical company Mountain View Pain Center. She was quickly promoted to assistant manager and was responsible for overseeing 15 clinics at her peak. During her time there, she found a fascination for the personal injury cases she worked on and obtained experience as a paralegal at a law firm where she further educated herself on patient care and personal injury cases.

Della has always enjoyed researching true crime cases and learning about the intensity of human beings. She is also an artist and loves painting and arts and crafts. She is a cat mom of 3 and enjoys watching documentaries with her fiancé and cats.
