Our Founder

Meet Dr. Christopher Dorsa

Founder, Pro Performance Chiropractic

Dr. Christopher Dorsa grew up in Nashville, Tennessee, playing sports all year round. Through his favorite sports — wrestling, boxing, jujitsu, and skateboarding— he became closely familiar with sports injuries from a young age. By his third major surgery at the age of 20, Chris discovered his interest in medicine that led him to pursue medicine at the University of Miami.

While in Miami, he shadowed several orthopedic practices, learning about surgery and orthopedic treatment. During his last year, a chiropractor for the Miami Dolphins spoke to his class, which opened his eyes to the physical aspect of sports medicine. Diving in, to learn more about physical therapy and chiropractic, he soon realized that the preventative hands on approach to healthcare was much more appealing. As a result, he pursued his Doctorate of Chiropractic at Palmer West in California.

As a personal trainer throughout college, a major focus of his studies was in movement and sports-related injuries in addition to regular spinal care. Dr. Dorsa became relentless in learning the latest and greatest techniques to create a more efficient treatment approach. His style of treatment, which is different for each patient, translates to faster healing time and fixing the problem at the source rather than simply treating symptoms. Dr. Dorsa has extensive training in prenatal chiropractic, severe spinal cord injuries and paralysis, sports injuries, auto accident care, and overall wellness.

Outside of the office Dr. Dorsa has a large variety of hobbies. In the winter time you can find him in the mountains snowboarding and in the summer you may see him at the park getting upside down between hand balancing and acrobatics. Video and film work has been a new passion of his that started with his chiropractic.

Dr. Dorsa originally went to University of Miami to study Marine & Atmospheric Sciences which he completed his bachelor’s degree in, on top of the Pre Med requirements. He worked on a scuba diving boat as a divemaster during the summers to quench his thirst for the ocean. He was founder & president of the Scuba Club at his chiropractic college in California.

Meet Dr. Mckenzie Cervini

Chiropractor, Pro Performance Chiropractic

Dr. Mckenzie Cervini grew up in Leamington, Ontario, Canada where she spent her time playing hockey, running, and teaching swimming lessons to children. Her love for health sciences and helping others paired with her innate interest in infants and children stemmed from her passion for completing her doctorate in chiropractic with a pediatric and pregnancy special interest.

From a young age, Dr. Cervini was drawn towards a career in healthcare, but it wasn’t until she learned about the dramatic benefits of chiropractic care with infants, children, and pre/post-natal, that she was intrigued. After shadowing a chiropractor in college, she saw first-hand the ability that chiropractors have to diagnose, reduce pain, increase range of motion and provide a better quality of life. From then on, she knew a career in chiropractic was right for her and went on to complete her doctorate of chiropractic at Palmer West in San Jose, California.

  • Active Release Technique (ART)  K-laser certified  Rock Tape FMT specialist  Instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization (IASTM)

In her free time, Dr. Cervini enjoys running with her dog Millie, strength training, and hiking. She also enjoys checking out new farmers’ markets and restaurants with friends and family.

As an emergency medicine physician, Dr. White has spent her career evaluating and treating traumatic injuries sustained during everyday events (sports, car accidents, work-related injuries, overuse injuries, etc). She has specific interest in shifting pain management from a symptomatic approach to a mechanistic approach, allowing her to address pain in a more targeted and efficient manner without the use of opiates. At this time, she is offering trigger point injections for muscle pain relief and will be expanding her practice soon.

Outside the ED/office Dr. White spends time with her partner Leo and two French bulldogs, Beans and Francis, “Frank.” She enjoys hiking, cooking, and trying new restaurants/food trucks/culinary experiences in the Denver area. A novice gardener, she enjoys having a house full of plants and herbs. Already a skier, she will be trying to learn to snowboard this winter.
